Kiddy Academy Hunts Cross – Baby Town messy play

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday our Baby Town children really enjoyed using various mark making tools in some shaving foam.

They were able to practise using a palm grasp on mark making equipment and using their whole bodies to explore some new textures. The staff enhanced the activity by introducing new vocabulary and new experiences for them using the shaving foam on the floor in their room to help strengthen their core muscles and work on their balance by encouraging them to reach across the floor.

They ended up very messy but really enjoyed themselves.
