As part of our commitment to safeguarding our children, all learning journeys are password protected so that parents and carers can only access the account of their own child. Other than parents/carers, only the child’s key person and the manager have access to the journal. Staff use tablets to take the photographs for observations that will be uploaded to the journal. The tablets are to be stored within our secure setting and procedures are in place to ensure they remain on site at all times, unless specific permission from management as been granted for outings that the children are attending. Staff can only access tapestry site and update children’s learning journals on nursery premises.
