Full time is desirable, but we will consider part-time applicants dependent on the needs of the Nursery.  

The qualification required for this role is at least an NVQ level 2 in childcare, however an NVQ Level 3 in childcare/ Early Years Educator or above is desirable.  

The applicant will be dynamic, can work as part of a team and be able to use your initiative and time manage your day effectively to ensure the smooth running of our nursery. You will be mature, experienced and focused on delivering excellent standards of care with a natural ability to work as part of a team and always be willing to go above and beyond. 

Having worked with children before is essential. Excellent knowledge of the EYFS is essential and the ability to plan appropriate activities and complete observations.

Monday – Friday between 7:30am – 6pm.

2. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
3. Paediatric First Aid certificate
4. Safeguarding children certificate

The apprenticeship gives successful candidates the flexibility to work and earn money alongside studying towards your qualification. You really can ‘learn on the job’. The team at the nursery will support you through your assignments and we invest a lot of training and mentoring into our apprentices.  

Assessors will visit the nursery and there is little or no obligation to go to college regularly, work can be done in the nursery and at home.
