Kiddy Academy Wavertree

The nursery has 3 large open plan nursery rooms and a fully fitted kitchen where meals are prepared fresh onsite daily. To the rear and side of the building is an extremely large, fully enclosed and room specific outdoor play area which can be accessed from each of our separate rooms to allow free flow play throughout the nursery day. 

Baby Room 

This is a purposely designed baby unit which caters for children ages 0-2 years, it has access to a bespoke sperate milk kitchen and nappy changing area with doors that lead out into our enclosed outdoor area. 

Toddler Room 

This is our toddler room catering for children ages 2-3 years, this room has its own bespoke nappy changing and toileting facilities with doors that lead out into our enclosed outdoor area. 

Preschool Room  

This is our pre-school room catering for children ages 3-5 years, this room has its own nappy changing and toileting facilities with child size toilets which the children are always encouraged to use independently and doors that lead out into our enclosed outdoor area.   

All activities on offer at Wavertree are carefully designed to give children the best possible opportunities and experiences within their environment.  Children are encouraged to practise and devlop skills, increase knowledge and gain confidence.   

Staff are experienced in developing behaviours by praising and encouraging children, to feel comfortable and secure in a warm, loving environment linked to home. 

Staff 

The nursery is managed by a supernumerary nursery manager called Jenny. 

Jenny has extensive early year’s experience of over 22 years and has been apart of our kiddy academy family since we opened in 2008.  The nursery manager is also supported by our deputy manager, these work closely together to ensure our high standards of quality throughout the nursery are met. Each of our rooms has a room manager who are highly experienced in running our rooms to exceptional standards and support their staff team to provide outstanding care to all of our children. 

All Staff receive accredited training in paediatric first aid. 

The Management and staff team are supported at all times by the 3 company directors and their wealth of early year’s experience and business management.  

We have a nursery chef who works onsite every day preparing fresh nutritious meals for our children 

The nursery have an onsite highly resourced sensory room in which children are able to spend time exploring all of their difference senses in a calm and relaxing environment.  

A large pram bus is used to ensure all our children benefit from trips out in our local community. 

From all our nursery rooms are safe and secure CCTV door entry system can be operated 

Opening Times 

The nursery is open Monday to Friday 8.00am-6.00pm. 

Morning sessions run from 8.00am-1.00pm & Afternoon sessions 1pm-6pm 

The nursery is closed on weekends and bank holidays.
